The Work Force Development Council oversees employment and training services for Brookings and Kingsbury Counties and also governs the Brookings Area Career Learning Center. In the fall of 1998, the local WFDC was formed on the foundation of the Career Learning Center Board of Directors. The leaders of our community currently serving on the Work Force Development Council are: Sheila Maffett - Chairperson Matt Kurtenbach - Vice Chairperson Kay Scheibe - BACLC Executive Director Jerry Raabe - Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Kjenstad - Ex-Officio Roger Monson (past chair) Bob Christianson Gale Dobbs Tidemann Amy Petersen David Peterson Fran Schoenfelder Tracey Smith Joe Tschetter Jim Winterboer
