Thank you for choosing Swiftel Communications as your Internet Service Provider.  For your convenience, we have put together this instructional packet to assist you in setting up your computer to connect to the Internet.

Turn the page and we will begin your setup process.

 Configure your Network settings

1. Click Start, then Control Panel

2. In Control Panel, double click on Network Connections.

3. Right click on your LAN connection and click properties

4. Click once on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click on Properties

5. Make sure both ”Obtain IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” are selected, then click OK

6. Click on the OK buttons all the way back to Control Panel.  Restart the computer after the message appears, then proceed to the next step.

Internet Setup

1. From the Start Menu, click on Control Panel

2. In the Control Panel, double click on the Internet Options

3. On the Internet Options window, click on the Connections tab, then make sure ‘Never Dial A Connection’ is selected

4. Click OK, and you are ready to go.  Just start Internet Explorer or another web browser and you will be surfing the web!
