  • Call Forward Busy Line: Forwards your calls to another location if your line is busy. $1.00/mo.

Caller ID - Caller Name

Lets you see the name and number calling you before you answer. This feature requires special caller ID equipment.

Cost:

$4.00 per month.

Instructions:

Incoming name and number automatically appears on your display equipment.

Caller ID - Call Waiting

This feature displays the name and number associated with the call waiting call. (Must be accompanied by Caller ID Service)

$1.00 per month.

Caller ID BLOCK

All the Time: Automatically blocks your number from being delivered to someone else's Caller ID unit on every call you make. Available to Non Published & Non Listed numbers only, not available to published numbers.

Per Call: Allows you to block your number from being delivered to someone else on a Per Call basis. Simply dial *67 before every call you wish to block. Available to published business numbers.

Cost:

No monthly charge for either type of block.

Instructions:

To activate "per call" block, dial *67 and then make your call. Your number will not be displayed on a CALLER ID unit during that call.

Cancel Call Waiting

With Call Waiting you can still make calls without interruptions by using Cancel Call Waiting.

Note: Call Waiting and Cancel Call Waiting are not compatible with Call Forward Busy

Cost:

$1.50/line/mo.

Instructions:

1. Before making a call dial *70

2. Listen for a second dial tone.
3. Proceed with your outgoing call.
4. Call Waiting is automatically restored when you hang up.

With both Cancel Call Waiting and 3-Way Calling, you can cancel Call Waiting during a call. While on the call, quickly tap the receiver button (Flash or Link)

Your original call connection will be automatically reestablished.

Busy Redial

Takes the hassle out of trying to get through to a busy or unanswered number by continuously and automatically monitoring the number until it is available and then notifying you.

Cost:

$1.75/line/mo.

Instructions:

1. Hang up.

2. Pick up again and dial *66
3. The last number you dialed will be rung automatically.
4. If it is busy, you will receive an announcement asking you to hang up and the system will automatically monitor the status of the called line for 30 minutes.
5. When the line is free you will receive a distinctive ring on your telephone.
6. Answer your telephone and the number will automatically be called again.
7. To cancel your Busy Redial request dial *85.

Call Return

Lets you return the last call that was made to your telephone.

Cost:

$1.75/line/mo.

Instructions:

1. Dial *69.

2. You will hear an announcement that tells you the last number that called you. If the caller used CALLER ID Block you will not receive the number but you can still return the call by entering 1.
3. If the number is busy, you will receive an announcement asking you to hang up and the system will monitor the line for 30 minutes.
4. When the line is free you will receive a distinctive ring on your telephone.
5. Answer your telephone and the number will automatically be called again.
6. To cancel your Call Return request dial *89.

Customer Originated Trace

When you are serious about prosecuting an offender. Customer Originated Trace lets you automatically trace an obscene or threatening phone call and delivers the number to local law enforcement. If the caller has violated South Dakota Codified Law 49-31-31 and you decide to prosecute, the police may use the trace as evidence.

Note: This feature has already been added to every Swiftel number and to most numbers that appear on Centrex business sets. Simply follow the instructions below to activate the trace.

Cost: Every time you complete a Customer Originated Trace you will be charged $4.00 whether or not you follow up with authorities. The traced number will be delivered ONLY to law enforcement.

Instructions: If you receive a call you would like to trace, Hang Up. Pick up the phone and dial *57
